Accessibility Statement
Accessibility is at the heart of everything we do. We want our website to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.
Our commitment
CelebrateAble exists to create belonging for disabled and neurodivergent people and their families. An accessible website is the least you should expect from us. We are committed to providing a site that everyone can navigate, understand and use, and to improving it continually as we grow.
Standards we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a minimum across all pages, and to go further where we can. These guidelines are the recognised international standard for making web content more accessible.
Accessibility features
We have built this website with accessibility in mind from the start. That includes:
- Clear, readable text with generous sizing and spacing
- Colour combinations chosen to meet AA contrast requirements
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Semantic, structured markup that works with screen readers
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Respect for your device's reduced-motion setting, so animations are minimised if you prefer
- A responsive layout that works across phones, tablets and desktops
Accessibility at our events
Our commitment to accessibility goes well beyond the website. Our events are designed to be inclusive from the ground up, with sensory considerations, accessible venues and quiet spaces. If you have specific access requirements for an event, please tell us and we will do everything we can to accommodate them.
Known limitations
We are always working to improve, and we know no website is ever perfect. Some content may not yet be fully optimised, and we continue to test and refine the site as we add new features. If you come across something that does not work well for you, we would genuinely like to know.
Report a barrier
If you find any part of this website difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, please get in touch. Your feedback helps us make the site better for everyone.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback as quickly as we can.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement as the website develops and as our accessibility work continues. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
